- Keep a close eye on your children!
When in a large crowd, it is important to make sure that your child is safe and can find you if they were to become lost. Reminding your children to avoid strangers and helping them to identify police officers is essential! Keeping your contact number written down in your child’s pocket can also be extremely helpful if they were to become separated from you in the crowd.
- Prevent potential injuries from occurring!
When in a large crowd, it is important to make sure that you are helping prevent yourself, and those around you, from incurring injuries. Effective ways of preventing injuries from occurring is by wearing appropriate clothing that isn’t loose (e.g., clothing that won’t get tangled, shoes that won’t easily fall off, etc.), not pushing your way through crowds and ensuring that you are walking sideways or diagonally If you’re caught in a moving crowd and you want to get out.
